FAQ

What is the correct Morse puzzle order?
Listen to the signal, separate the pattern, translate it with the current manual, and repeat the target before input.
How can the team avoid a Morse misread?
Have one player listen and one player repeat the translated result before the operator presses.

Quick answer

📻 Decode desk

Morse number decoder

Enter dots and dashes, decode the number, then press ENTER in the same order as the game module.

Player tool
A → 1

Enter the decoded number, then press ENTER in the game.

📡 Listening cue: hear one socket completely → translate the dot-dash packet → 🔢 enter once → ✅ press Enter.

Morse is a Hard defusal module. Each display socket plays Morse code; enter the number represented by that code, then press ENTER. The key skill is not speed; it is preventing a partial signal from becoming a confident but wrong number. The reference lists a 4 × 2 footprint and a first fixed appearance at Level 21.

Team workflow

  1. Deaf asks for silence and listens to one display socket completely.
  2. Deaf repeats the dot-dash groups without translating mid-stream.
  3. Mute checks the matching number table and gives one target number.
  4. Blind enters the number, repeats it back, and presses ENTER.

If the signal restarts, discard the previous partial read. Keep a short scratch sequence in gestures or agreed words, then verify the whole number before ENTER. Never let two players translate different sockets independently without a final merge.

Signal capture checklist

StepWhat to doStop condition
ListenLet one socket finish without interruptionThe signal restarts or background noise masks it
RecordRepeat the dot-dash groups exactly as heardThe team uses two different spellings
TranslateLet the manual reader give one numberMore than one number is proposed
EnterOperator repeats the number and presses ENTER onceThe display has changed since the read

Morse is easier when the team treats the audio as a complete packet. Do not translate half of a signal while the other player is still listening; that creates two competing states.

Fixed campaign placement

The reference lists two fixed appearances, beginning at Level 21. Expect Morse after the team has already learned to separate audio information from physical input.

Practice route

Start with the beginner guide to establish the no-overlapping-call rule. Then combine Morse with Soundboard and Direction so the team can switch between audio and visual instructions. Level Lookup helps you plan a session where the communication load increases gradually.

Failure patterns

  • Translating before the full signal has finished.
  • Using two different abbreviations for the same dot-dash group.
  • Forgetting to repeat the target before the input.
  • Treating background bomb sounds as part of the module signal.

The exact signal table belongs to the current game version. If the live manual differs from a remembered pattern, the live manual wins.
